I actually haven’t owned a “decent” camera in probably ten or more years.  With that said, I finally have taken the time to write a review for my new favorite photography toy that was purchased with intentions to use specifically for my blog.  The Canon Powershot SX530 is very versatile, quickly taking the place of my cell phone when it comes to snapping all types of interesting shots.  Recently, I took it with me to various places in my hometown, in order to really figure out all of it’s manual controls and to get a good feel for it’s fast zoom lens.  Read on to find out how much fun I had with this easy to handle cam. Paqui’s One Chip Challenge.

I conquered it without breaking down!  My cousin half-completed it… and my uncle, well, he paid for it painfully, LOL.  Check out the video as you continue reading – View Post

I am still super amazed at myself that I succeeded in marking something challenging off of my personal bucket-list – in this case, SKYDIVING, and I want to share with all of you my first experience.

I say FIRST because I DO plan on doing this again.. And again.. And again!

Now, I’m not much of a risk taker by any means. But I am spontaneous. And I do like to push the limit from time to time.. And I always love a thrill that makes me scream from the top of my lungs (Cedar Point is my home away from home specifically for that purpose).

So when it came time for me to start my bucket list, this was the first thing I wanted to do. Spur of the moment, I just booked that seat. It would be the first time I got on a plane but would not land in one. Amazing.

I’ve got to admit, I have never been a yogurt fan.

When I have bought yogurt, it has always been the sweet stuff with tons of added sugar… Also, I always have to top it with fruit and tons of granola.  Not too healthy but filling nonetheless.  Then the Greek” variety soon became popular on store shelves and came out from various different companies like Chobani and Activia but I would never get used to the texture.  I’ve also tried the fairly new Yo-plait dippers but I was more than disappointed with that – it tasted more like spoiled milk and stale cookies more than anything else.
