Well it is the 11th of December and I hope that all of you are enjoying another wonderful Monday 🙂 I have to say that this has been one of my better days.
Anyway, I have to take a few minutes to let you all know that I was nominated for the Mystery Blogger Award. It wasn’t too long ago that this happened but I have just gotten to making this post, so… I want to thank MoeTips, a fellow blogger with an extremely wonderful website soooooo much for choosing me as one of her nominations! I think it’s great that bloggers can support each other in creative ways like this and it’s also a good way for us all to discover amazing bloggers that we otherwise may not have run across on these here interwebs. Trust me, having your blog acknowledged from other bloggers is awesome!! With that said, make sure you visit MoeTip’s blog when you get a chance!
The best thing about this nomination as that in return, I also get to nominate other bloggers that I feel deserve the same recognition too! Keep reading to find out more about how this all works.
I’ve always liked trying out new social sites. I still remember all the days and nights I enjoyed chatting on Collegeclub, and the beginnings of MySpace and also Hi5. Who would have thought today of what a success that Facebook, Instagram and Twitter have become??? And now, here is Snapchat. It’s been out since September of 2011, but it’s taken me almost 6 years to even get curious enough to download this mobile app.
Snapchat is basically a social app used to send videos and photo messages that disappear after a short amount of time – only 24 hours. You can send these messages to everyone on your friends-list, a chosen few, or download them and keep them private for yourself. I can easily see why teenagers would love using this app, and why older folks would easily get confused by it. Shoot, I still don’t know the ins and outs of all Snapchat’s features yet. I have already accidentally sent some people that I follow – including Michelle Obama, a rather silly photo or two that I didn’t mean for them to ever, ever see. So, I try now to be extra careful when maneuvering through the screens whenever using it. View Post
