Well it is the 11th of December and I hope that all of you are enjoying another wonderful Monday 🙂 I have to say that this has been one of my better days.
Anyway, I have to take a few minutes to let you all know that I was nominated for the Mystery Blogger Award. It wasn’t too long ago that this happened but I have just gotten to making this post, so… I want to thank MoeTips, a fellow blogger with an extremely wonderful website soooooo much for choosing me as one of her nominations! I think it’s great that bloggers can support each other in creative ways like this and it’s also a good way for us all to discover amazing bloggers that we otherwise may not have run across on these here interwebs. Hey everyone! So I have a question for you, how was your black Friday? Did you do any shopping for Christmas at all? What about the deals, did you find any worth bragging about? Well, during this time of year, many of us start thinking of items to give our loved ones come Christmas day. Maybe you’re like me – just thinking of braving the Black Friday crowds in order to get a desired gift for “cheap” is too much stress to even think about! Then again, maybe you’re in a situation where you actually don’t have the money, or cannot afford to buy gifts others. I have been there as well. Or, maybe those that you are shopping for are picky as all get out and are never really appreciative with whatever they get for a holiday gift. So, you decide to put a creative spin on your holiday gifts and decide that whatever they get will be homemade thus given with a lot of love and thought behind it. When all else fails, we fall back on the usual gift cards, skin care packages and ugly Christmas sweaters.

It feels kind of cliche for me to have to write a post on how to show someone that you love them or care, but I think it’s still very much needed. Throughout life’s trials and errors, I have learned that not many people know how to let others know that they are appreciated in their life, and that they care. It’s either these people don’t understand how to make their feelings known without feeling embarrassed about it, or they really didn’t give a damn about your feelings in the first place and were instead using you for some purpose important to them. Have you ever had a hard time getting over something hurtful that somebody has done to you? Being able to forgive the people who may have hurt you is a huge step to healing spiritually and emotionally. It is unavoidable during the course of our lives, to at some point, not get let down by others. Although these disappointments can cause us all a lot of distress and heartache – with faith, it could also help mold us into better people; the most positive result of this is, we could grow to be more compassionate, caring and Christ-like. We can also can learn beneficial life lessons about what really matters to us and others.
What I’m trying to explain is – you won’t be able to avoid disappointments – but what’s most important is how you ultimately decide to deal and react to them. All of your reactions will have consequences, eventually determining whether you will be able to heal and move on, or allow negativity to fester and drag down your emotions for the long run.
